Hello,
To activate your 1 month free Microsoft office trial turn on your Windows
tablet and ensure that you are on your home screen, look for the icon that
shows ‘Get office’. Click into this to proceed.
You will be prompted with a welcome screen from Microsoft,
scroll down the page. Look for a section that displays ‘Collaborate with Office
Online’. Under this section there will be an option to get office online, click
into this.
The tablet screen will become split screen, you will have the original welcome page on the left hand side and the office website open on the right hand side. On the office website, you will be able to choose if you wish for have a free trial for home, or for business. Click onto the one you wish to trial.
When you have chosen
the trial you wish to proceed with, the next screen will ask you to ‘Try for
free’. Click this option and you will be prompted with instructions on how to
continue with your free trial.
If you wish to make the internet tab full screen, you can do this by dragging from the black line in the middle of the screen to the side you wish to close.
Because you will be
registering your free trial to your account, for security reasons you will be
asked to sign into your windows account. This will be the email address and
password that you created when setting up the tablet (unless you used an
existing windows account). Enter your password and sign in.
From here, you will need to enter your card details. This is because after your trial you will be charged for the office 365 package.
The first month of your subscript is free, but you do need
to provide payment information. After your free trial, you’ll be charged at the
then-current price (Subject to change) plus applicable taxes.
You can cancel
your subscript at office.com/myaccount during the trial period to prevent any
charges.
To finish registering for your free trial, enter your details and continue to the purchase page by pressing ‘Save’. This will take you to the purchase page to confirm what service you wish to pay for/trial and finally continue to the completion page. Once you have completed this process, you will be able to install your trial.
When you add a credit card as payment method, you might see
a small charge on your card. Microsoft do this to verify the credit card
number. The charge is only temporary.
If you buy something with a credit card from another
country/region, your bank might add an international transaction fee. Contact
your bank for more information.
Please be advised if you experience any problems with
payments, you will need to Microsoft directly as Time2 Direct do not have
control over any of the payment system made to Microsoft.
